chillin in the NC

I'm here in NC visiting my mother before I head off. We're going to the Carolina coast this weekend. I leave Monday for Philadelphia for Peace Corps staging. All of the volunteers and I will be leaving the country Wednesday afternoon. So that's about all that's new from here.

Some people have asked me if I had an address in Mali yet. Well, I found a temporary address where we will be able to receive mail.

Michele Lehman, PCT
Corps de la Paix
B.P. 85
Bamako, MALI

Seems like some people prefer B.P. 85 to the 75. But I really haven't checked myself.

Thanks, my error, I double checked and it is BP 85!

Ahhhh! Thank you for the e-mail! I'm totally excited to read about life in the Peace Corps. Myself, I'll be maintaining a livejournal in France, my username is poulpe if you're interested.

Good luck at training!

Heh Michelle Aunt Teri here Whasup[
I miss you but know you are doing what you need to be doing. I talked to Mary Hicks who handles the EBMUD international and she told me you internet access WATER FOR PEOPLE and then access AMERICAN WATER WORKS. She said that they have funded some African Peace Corps Projects. It's worth a try. Well I am finished at work and am a little sad but will be going to Wyoming next week. I saw a cousin I hadn't seen in 34 years. My e-mail address is ilg@caltel.com. How much can I write. I wrote you before but you hadn't written anything yet. We are missing you and loving you very much. I stayed with Aunt Gail and she mumbles everytime Rick interferes with her TV time. It's hilarious. She is looking for a new car. Our old renters moved out so I went and weeded and Alfie is going to paint all three buildings. Amyway, I wanted to write you now. I haven't read your blog yet. What a journey!
